End of lease on my 2016, getting a leftover 2018 (because 6,500 in incentives and rear window shade and motorized steering tilt/extend)... Same exact car I have now, except no massage seats (no great loss, but that's another story, see below). And it's Metallic which I actually like compared to the non-metallic black of my 2016. My 2013 had Tuxedo Black which I loved.

Went to go look at it yesterday, and realized it had Pirelli P Zeros on it. Is that normal for 2018's maybe because of the Performance Pack? Sales guy (who I actually trust) said all the Mustangs have them, so he wasn't surprised to see them on this SHO.

Side story about the massage seats: Drove into Manhattan a few weeks ago to drop someone off, took about 2 hours to get in, then turned right around and drove home another hour and a half. During the drive back, my right leg started to ache, so I turned on the massage seat. Did a whole lot of nothing. So no great loss on no massage seats in the 2018 ;)

Side note: Anyone looking for a 2016 with 23K miles, it'll be at Huntington Ford on Long Island. Lease buyout is $22K and change...

P-Zero is the tire that comes with the performance pack.

Pretty sure my 2016 is 12/2015 - matter of fact, 11/2016 is like right on the cusp of going 2017.

Maybe they switched it mid year? I know the F1’s were standard on the PP for awhile.

FWIW, there's a 2018 black PP SHO at Winner Ford in Cherry Hill, NJ too. Last time I was there, it was on the showroom floor.

Website shows $41k, probably some wiggle room in there.

A Build Date in November 2016 and it's still titled as a 2016? That seems weird. Not that I've kept track, but it seems like SHOs were coming out really early for the model year. The original 2010 came out in like May - June of 2009 and I know that Scott MacIntosh brought his new 2013 to the St Cloud SHO Convention in July 2012

Hmmm... even more weird now that I look closer. They are Tiger Paw CTZ all season tires. I bought the car with 9k in miles on it. I'm now at 12k. Can't see tires needing changing that soon.

Agreed. While I still work with that dealership, I managed that site for almost 4 years...but stopped in December. We had discounts automated on the site, which must've lapsed as that SHO isn't showing a dealer discount.

If I remember correctly, the 2016 model year started being produced in December 2015. So running until November makes sense, actually.

My 2013 was manufactured in early 2012. It was probably one of the first 2013s to be made. And it did have a few bugs, like the "no acceleration from a dead stop" thing that was fixed with a new PCM calibration. And a GPS issue that was also fixed with software. And the memory on the steering wheel position not going back where it was supposed to.

Not that unusual at all. Original buyer may not have wanted summer tires, so they either had the dealer, or the nearest tire store, swap them out upon purchase. I'm suspecting a tire store, as I don't think a Ford dealer would carry those Uniroyals.

That's the point I was making that new model year SHO production has started early in the prior calendar year. And they obviously don't overlap model years. Could be that 2016 production started in 12/2015, but I believe it was the summer of 2015, like other Gen 4-5, as there were a couple of 2016 SHOs, with window stickers, at the Chicago plant when we did the plant tour in July 2015 at the SHO Convention. Still seems very strange that a 2016 MY was still produced in 11/2016.

I am almost positive my '16 PP has Pirelli - I will confirm when I get home from work today. She's not a daily!
