I was pulling out of my road before and a truck was coming fast so I went for it and pulled out full throttle in regular drive and it bounced off redline and the rpm needle turned red....I let off for a split second and floored it again and it shifted to second. Anyone else have this? Traction control was not turned off and I was in regular Drive mode

I would ask LMS to tweak the tune a little to anticipate the wot upshift a little sooner.

If the revs are climbing too quickly (is there such a thing?) then the pcm will not command a shift to second quickly enough to avoid bouncing the engine off the rev limiter. The solution is to command the upshift at wot a little sooner.

I'm suspecting some excessive wheel spin when pulling out?

Definitely doesnt like wot in that situation. Try going to 80% instead for the first fraction of a second then wot. Maybe that will manage it better?

Excessive wheel spin can cause the rpms to climb alot faster and get you into a situation the ecu thinks is not safe for a shift...thus the redline bounce.

At least it isn't like a guys tune I've seen recently...his tuner had him shifting at 6700 rpms?
