I've got 80,000 miles on my 2013 SHO and have been noticing it takes perhaps twice as many crank revolutions from the starter to light off the engine on a cold start versus a warm start. This has not always been the case. Without yet pulling a spark plug I'm speculating the plugs are tired. Any similar experiences out there?

Having 3 EcoBoosts, 70,000 seems to be the life span of non tuned EcoBoost spark plugs. And from experience on my f150, change the coil boots too, runs about 30-40 bucks for new boots. My truck had one that gave and put my truck into limp mode if I hit the gas hard and that's when the truck only had 80,000 miles on it. Now I'm a believer in new plugs/new boots.

On my 2010 I changed them at 65K and the gap was huge. They were oem. Then I changed them again at 120k and they were near perfect. FWIW

It is a coil on plug system. So instead of a plug wire, there is a boot on the end of the coil. The rubber boot can degrade and still have a good coil. It is about $20 for a set on RockAuto. You can get a set of 6 MSD coils with boots for $200 on Amazon.
$200!! I just spent 144 on two coils and spark plugs...not even close to being like MSD...

Yea, it is best to use a price watch app or extension. Right now there aren't any available. Someone has to buy and return a set. Then to get the really good deal, something needs damaged in some way. I bought mine and a shipping label was attached to the face of the product box. So they "skinned" the face of the box to get the label off. Parts were brand new inside.

Oh yeah. I do not have that time atm. Lol maybe for when I get all my OEM ones replaced then I'll start hunting down some MSDs.
