2013 Sho w/old sync version, mysync site says I have latest version

Hi, I am an old Ford owner (two CVPIs in the past, just got my first SHO, 2013 with PP, LOVE it), and I am trying to update Sync in my new (to me) car. I have MyFord Touch, I've registered on the site and even run my first health check.

Here is what I see in settings for my System Information CCPU S/W Version: 4.29.12285_PRODUCT.

At owner.ford.com it says I have the 12M02 "recall," and under update history it says:
Date Confirmed:May 21, 2013
Version:SYNC2 v3.5

DA5T-14D544-BB

...as the last entry. I know there's at least 3.6.2, but the Ford site tells me I have the latest version and doesn't offer me a download.

Is there anything I can do to get the update?

Ford extended the warranty for the Sync system up to 5 years, unlimited mileage. At least, they did for my 2013 PP. You could just call a dealer and see if they'll do it for you.

There is a "version checker" you can download, put on a USB flash drive, run it, and report back. That MIGHT make the difference.

You know, I thought I had replied to this already but I will do it now because I don't see my reply -- thanks very much for your response -- you were spot on; my dealer is doing the update under warranty on Wednesday. I hope it stops bluetooth randomly skipping forward on my podcasts.

Just thought I'd report back: dealer installed 3.8 under warranty -- works like a champ, and now I can play podcasts through Bluetooth on my Android phone without having them randomly skip forward 30 seconds every so often. That alone was worth it.
