2013 Sho owner

I've had my 2013 for about 7 years now never had any major issues with it, love the car! Been on this forum a few times and decided to register. Never plan on getting rid of it!

Welcome! Now put plugs and a 3 bar map and a tune one it. You will be so disappointed you didn't do it sooner

BUT please change all fluids on a regular schedule! This forum has convinced me this is the number one error in owning an Eco-Boost. Transmission, RDU and especially the dreaded PTU!

I still can't believe the nasty black slime that was in the PTU on my first fluid change! The car was only at 25K miles too. Now over 100K and the last PTU fluid change I had honey colored fluid coming out of the PTU.

Really wish Ford had emphasized the maintenance more and dropped all this lifetime fluid crap!

I bought my 2010 sho at 98000 miles. Transmission started shuttering at 260000 miles. Still driving, but at 267000 miles, the timing chain became too stretched to drive. The only thing ever done to it was the fuel injectors, hp fuel pump, steering rack and front/rear suspension. Only the engine oil has been changed. I'm only telling you guys this because with all the comments I've been seeing, I think I had a miracle car. I still have it, and I'll probably start using it for parts for my 2011.
