he mentions the new sho is for the Ford purists...

Me thinks this article needs an edit for author info:

Having unveiled the 2013 Fusion at the Detroit auto show--hot on the heels of Frankfurt's Evos concept which heralded its styling direction--Ford had to do something to keep the Taurus from looking a tad long in the tooth. Hence this mid-cycle refresh.

The car is one year older than the new Charger, and 5 years newer than the Impala. Newer than the Maxima, Avalon, and a ton of other cars out there....How is 3 MY worth of production long in the tooth? None of those have gotten a refresh since the 2010 Taurus came out.. - I guess the Avalon did but I can't tell.

Since when is 365 HP a 10 HP increase over the previous model? Sure, a 10 HP increase over the MKS, Flex, and MKT, but not over the previous SHO.

"The Dodge/Chrysler Charger/300 twins offer more fun and feel more American in the best sense of the word." By that do they mean poor fit and finish and lower quality? I'm mostly teasing having not actually checked out any recent Chrysler product.
