Can't win 'em all.

Still a good story nonetheless, so thanks for posting.

I'll eat that cute lil SS up for lunch though myself. Lol.

Careful now bpd... all that added weight from the audio gear is gonna slow you down....

Might not be cracking into the 11's anymore...

Not worried at all.

Especially with new perf upgrades coming to the table.

Last big project for me is the trans..... it'll be all good then.

Custom transmission build? Last I checked we are out in the cold on transmission upgrades...

I know you have the motor for it....

Drop a GT350 powertrain into the SHO and lets compare with the SS. For many years, GM has been thriving off detuned Corvette powertrains in its' cars. Not a bash, just an observation.

Yes yes, yes indeed.

That cute lil SS is sharp, and beastly for being stock as BigMike74 states.

Kudos for sure.

Takes work to get our big whales moving their mass around for sure.

Always great things looming on the horizon though.

I enjoyed reading Big Mike's experience. Gives others pause, and makes them realize how much work does need to be done to get past them.

What?? I know you can get a 2017 SS because I have a buddy who just bought one. Did they discontinue them mid-year?

I love posts like this! Thanks! By the way....

I was at a gas station parked by the pumps, car running so the LED DRls were shinning nicely, car was clean, looking sharp and in rolls a new silver SS next to my silver SHO. He gets out and as he's walking inside his head is backwards looking at my car. So I get in my car and wait for him - he comes out still looking so I start a convo. He was shopping SS, SHOs, and Chargers. The only decision maker for him was RWD and the V8 sound. He started it up and revved the engine - oh my!!! It has a crackling deep sounding exhaust - I was in love! All he's done to it was a black-out kit, very classy, just some chrome around side fender emblem and grille, etc. He asked me about my car and I told him about the tune, etc. and he listened but seemed to be more ego-centered on his ride! Well.........we get to a red light (in Mexico) and I admit I timed the light too well and jumped him - but he got on it right away but I just kept pulling on him by a lot! We got to the next light and being the nice guy I am I said I jumped you but he didn't seem to care - all of a sudden he started asking about what I did to the car. What? We already had this conversation at the gas pumps! Guess he didn't believe or care till he got his @SS .......... !!!! :burnout:

That's a bummer. One of the last remaining 4 door sports sedans still available with a manual transmission.

Yup, that's why I was joking with the Madmax quote...

The days of hauling the family around in a 4 door sedan that will hold its own against the sports car world I think are numbered... unless something in the market changes...

Otherwise it's Fusion Sports for all!
