+2, 3 AND 4 BAM for the distracted driving. I am also wondering if the 2014 may not even had the DVD function....Did you try a regular music CD just to cross check?

As for the gauge Coolant Temp......glad you corrected yourself..... Also note that in the right hand instrument cluster even though the fuel door is on the right side of the vehicle the fuel gauge is the left side..........A pet peeve of mine but oh well.

It was an option. Separate FOB and it sucked. When you went to the car after remote starting it and opened the door the engine shut off. You had to restart once you got in the car.

I noticed that the fob was different is why I asked.

Haven't tried it on my '13, and don't care too. One less thing you don't need to worry about while driving. They already got to much extra crap in them now, causing distracted drivers.

DVD only works when gear selector is in park.

I have the DVD player in my SHO. It will only work while the selector is in Park. If you move the selector out of park, the screen changes to "This Feature is Disabled" until the selector goes back into Park. There are ways to bypass it, but not from the factory.

Ah.... Well this is all good... Why did they change this for the 013-up?
My 08 Limited had the rear entertainment center with cordless headphones and could play PS3 in the back seat.
I liked listening to movies when I drive.... The screens were not visible from the front seat.

It wasn't a 2013 change.

All models 2010 and up have video disabled when out of 'PARK'.

iirc, the systems up to 12 did play dvds when in park. I would test it to confirm though, because my brain cells are getting older every day...

It most likely kicks the DVD out because as a fairly confident guess the DVD function is not active on the 2013.....CD Yes but probably the DVD function is removed.

The fuel gauge has an indicator as to which side the fuel filler is. I rent cars a lot and thats how you know. Pretty much every manufacturer does this. Wow! I never noticed.... My 08 limited had rh filler so I guess I did not even think of which side.
I know I like the cap-less filler!

My SHO should NEVER have this problem as I do not drive in rain-snow or the like....
and my cap cover has the BIG seal.
That is a GREAT video for those Ford owners that are having the engine light...

I called them Thursday and will go Monday or Tuesday to re test drive the SHO.
