2011 HID Problem

Headlight had a crack. Ballast was shorting out. Replaced entire headlight assembly, bulb, ballast. When I plug the connector into the headlight it comes on. When I turn the car off it will not turn back on. HELP!

This is drivers side. Passenger side works as designed.

Assuming checked all fuses are both not coming on now? Try getting 12 volts to the ballast to see if it's a bad ballast or car wiring? If you have FORScan and an obd connector to laptop you can see if you can reset modules to fix it.

To clarify, every time I unplug/plug the light back in it will come on. It will just turn off again when I turn the car off and force me to unplug/plug again.

Stock hid or aftermarket?

Check the dtc for any errors see what that says then the next block down id just reset all modules unless you get a dtc that looks it pertains to your light issue

Might be a bad ground or low battery even

Swap with the other side. Connector is exactly the same.

It is an OEM unit. Standard ODBC scan tool shows nothing wrong.
