Hey all. Wondering if anyone can tell me whether I can use these TPMS sensors on our 2010 SHO? I can get them way cheaper than the $86/sensor directly from Ford. Thanks in advance.

That looks like the type that are in 2010 SHO, FLEX, etc., but sometimes the part number is different. I have purchased TPMS off of ebay that worked just fine. Believe the whole set of 4 cost me under $120. with bands etc. I assume you have a re-set tool. You will need that , or have your installer do it, which some charge big $$$ to do. My other set came from TireRack and I paid more, but they road force balanced the tires, so in the end it cost about the same as if I had everything mounted and RF balanced locally.

Thanks. I don't have the tool but will probably pick one up. I just wondered as the part number was different than what I had seen when I searched the Ford parts website. I figured they would work as the seller claims they do and they do show the 315MHz. Can't go wrong for a $100 for all 4.

Looks like the right type - I've got 4 sensors and bands if anyone is looking for them for a 2010 SHO.

Unless you have non-stock bands, you will need new ones. Stock ones use a simple clip that can't be re-used.

Look for the tool that can re-set the TPMS on e-bay. I paid around $25. - 3 years ago and it is a little white box that has a center button that you aim at the TPMS sensor which you are supposed to position at 180 deg from valve stem... I assume for balance... Once you go thru Ford's "switch and brake steps" that are like being at a dance studio audition...(LOL) it is easier to get a beep out of the horn than it is with GM's TPMS re-set system... ** ** **.. MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!
