There are 2 really solid safe choices and a handful of others out there.

The best two are Livernois Motorsports and Unleashed. I personally run a Livernois tune and it really woke the car up. 0-60 around 4.1 seconds and quarter mile around 12.6. They do really know the EcoBoost engine well. They just take a couple of days to get back to you if you email or call them. Busy shop.

I cant speak for Unleashed though as I dont have much experience with their tunes but the tuner Torrie is a great guy and replies to customer emails day and night. Great customer service.

Bosscav did u just tune your car or do u have any other components? I have a 2010 and I'd like to know if only a tune would make a big or small difference.

I have Unleashed with his 3bar boost and it's definitely woken up the car. I also have the corsa catback, CAI (Airaid) some people think it'll hinder performance rather than help, and a 3 bar MAP. I think the biggest bang for your buck would be to tune it and add a 3 bar MAP and .30 gapped spark plugs

I don't know exact 0-60 times, it's definitely in the 4's and it's like a new car, even shifts so much better. Very Happy with Torrie. As BossCav said, you can't really go wrong with either tuner. LMS, I inquired with them recently and I got responses back the following morning when I emailed them late night so I was very happy with their customer service as well.

Good luck and happy tuning!

My power modifications are as follows:

LME 4X 3bar Tune (tweaked to meet my needs)
3bar MAP sensor
160F Thermostat
SP534 spark plugs gapped at .030
K&N drop in filter

You can get all of the above from Livernois (LME) except the K&N drop in filter. Let me know if you have any more questions.

Please take some time to search the forums for similar posts so we dont get repetitive threads ;)

I'm running LME 4X 3bar tune here too. I purchased and getting ready to install LME downpipes. I have a modded Airaid CAI, 3rd cat delete and dyno max mufflers. SP534's gapped at .030. Car is an animal. I would only trust Livernois or Unleashed to tune these cars. Just do you research and figure out what is best for you. I'm anxious to see how much improvement there is after the DP install. Glad racing season is about ready to start. Yes its also amazing that these cars run in the 12's with very little work. Welcome to the club.

Thought I would jump in on this. I just recently purchased a 2011 SHO with the PP (36,00 miles) and started looking at what Diablosport had to offer as well,..Nothing for the SHO as stated above. Read all kinds of good Forums on Livernois Tunes for it....How would a stage 2 Tune be for a daily driver? Also,..do you "have to" run the 160 Thermostat with that tune?

Congrats on the new SHO. Honestly the tunes have been around for 5+ years now and have held up very well (after reading through 100+ forum threads!). I would skip the 1-3 tunes in their entirety.

I recently just installed the 93 Oct 4+ tune and its a great daily driver (2010 SHO non-PP 42000 miles). The LMS (I cannot speak for Unleashed whatsoever, someone will chime in I am sure for how theirs operates) tuner only holds 4 tunes (plus your stock tune) so I went with the stage 4/4+ 91/93 octanes. However, you can request other tunes from LMS and replace the ones on your programmer.

I probably will never take it off of stage 4+ 93 unless 93 octane isnt available.

I believe the requirements for stage 4+ is the 160 degree thermostat/precision plugs/91 or 93 octane.

Stage 4+X (which I am heavily contemplating) involves a 3Bar MAP sensor and they would prefer you to have downpipes.

Anyways to answer your question (sorry for rambling) the stage 2 would be a fine daily driver (probably not that much more exciting than stock I would imagine), and no, if I remember right you do not require the 160 t-stat with it. Someone please correct me if I am wrong.

LMS has a tune package with the t-stat, programmer, CAI and add the plugs and it is under $1100 or so. I did that and added roughly 80 rwhp. It is a completely different car and I absolutely do not regret getting the 4+

Cheers,

Brian

I don't know if I could have explained it any better than Brian did to be honest!

Sharp, most guys that we setup with the 4+ and 4X+ never switch to any lower tunes unless they happen to wind up in an area that does not offer 93 octane.

Been away for a while,....Thanks for the info. Brian. I am seriously thinking of the LMS stage 4 now. I ran into another guy right in my neighborhood that is running the LMS stage 4 and he highly recommended it as well.

Thanks
Doug
