On a Saturday morning headed to work, I had hit a raccoon and it started to get hot. If I turned the heat on, temp guage would still rise. If I turned the heat completely off, the temp would stay on the upper side of the guage. I had added coolant to it when I got to work. I had driven my car again to work Monday morning. It never exhibited any noises, lights, or hesitation. 8 hours later, I went out to start it to leave and it would just click. Never turned over or tried to start. I ended up jumping it and would just turn over with no hint of firing up. Had a new battery installed and also no ignition. After a tow to a shop, they informed me that there are no codes, no indication of what's wrong. They told me that it would just drain the battery, sitting with no activity. With the charger connected, it just cranks. They pulled the plugs, not fouled, not harassed by pistons, no show of anything wrong. What could be the result of a sudden no start? Thanks for any help and future questions of symptoms.

Guardians of the Galaxy, not your under carriage.
Groot?
Have you looked for scattered parts crashing into wiring?

I'm surprised there are no codes. The cars are particular to having a strong battery to opoerate correctly. Anyone dig around to make sure noting came loose or damaged a wire?
