Well, it's about two months out now and gas continues it's out-of-control price spiral. Several people I've talk to that were planning to go last year, are having serious considerations given gas prices and the recent three-month trend. I have a receipt from paying less than $2.699 in February, and it seems like the futures speculators keep cycling through the same short-list of 
excuses for the reason behind the near-daily new highs in crude oil futures. Anyway . . . .
Some people are now talking of taking fewer SHOs and sharing driving expenses, in addition to those that were originally planning to fly-out and rent-a-car.
If you were looking to go, but can't swing the gas and/or hotel prices - or are looking for others to share expenses driving-out, post where you at or would like to meet-up, and maybe we can get a few more people to the convention - inspite of the oil companies best efforts to bleed us all dry.
