Need two mtx rear exhaust manifolds for my rwd project. Not actually sure if they are going to work or not, so don't want to spend an arm and a leg for them.

I think I still have a bunch of exhaust manifolds - let me have a look through my collection.

Is it the MTX rear, or ATX rear that tuck closer to the engine? I would think the former

mtx is closer, atx is further away because the trans is larger.

Okay, I'll bite. Why two rears? Are you thinking of using a rear on the front? I'm pretty sure that won't work. To make the bolt holes line up with the head studs, that rear manifold will have to point up. I'm pretty sure, but I'm going to go look at The Other Woman's exhaust right now. That didn't come out right.

EDIT I was right. While the bolt pattern is identical from side to side, one manifold is welded (so to speak) to one side of the ******, and the other is welded to the other side. Kind of difficult to explain in type, but if you put the left and right flanges together (like there is no engine in between them), the holes do not line up. But if you turn either one arround like you wanted the exhaust to go into the block, the holes line up. Clear as mud now?

What you need to do is use a left and right and get header pipes made up to fit the different angles and come out where you need them. You'll probably want some sort of H or X crossover or it will sound crappy.

That what I thought.. I went and looked at the engine today and the bolt holes are offset so they won't match..

I just got one on eBay for $20 shipped. Thanks guys
