Like the title says, I'm crazy! Anyhoo, I am converting my SHO to SHOwdom and like the dropped suspension tucking big rims look of the SHO's. I have 17's and they look too small on this big car. I bought 18's that won't clear my new calipers on my 13" PBR's(45mm offset and angled in spokes). So I do the most logical thing I can. Buy 19's. Duh! Makes the brakes look better. The wheels are a 19x8.5" Axis Hiros with a 35 or 38mm offset. A 235-35-zr19 set of tires will even the set out and make em fit. Now once my car is lowered with my new coilovers will these buggers rub my fenders or will they not. Saying they are a 38mm offset. Any body ever use 8.5 in wheels in this offset before? Don't see a prob out back with trimmed fenders or possibly even rolled fender lips. But the front is what i'm looking at. Can't do that much trimming if any up front because of the inner fender liner(unless I pull it out).

I'm the boss, need the info.

I am not sure about my offset, and my 19's are only 7.5 wide, but unless I lower the front WAAY down I do not have any problems rubbing. At the lower end of the settings though, I would rub going over some dips and such, but nothing bad.

I think they should work because the 18x7.5's have 235-40-18 tires on them and look like they could go another .5 inch on each side of the rim to fill the tire better. If people are running 245-45-17's then a 19" rim with 235-35-19's should fit depending on offset. I think a 38-40mm offset should fit no problem. Maybe I'll flare my fenders to fit em'. Italians do pretty nice body work. Decently cheap too.
