I have a 1999 SHO that I no longer want. It's black with gray interior with 118,000 miles on it. It runs great but it has low oil pressure (13psi), when hot, at idle. I removed the oil pan hoping to find something obviously wrong and found a few bits of metal which I can't identify, and nothing else. This car was my daily for many years and I took very good care of it, but the time has come to let it go, as I have a hot rod project and no longer have the time nor interest in trying to repair it. I spent a deal of money replacing a lot of things just before the oil pressure issue popped up and as such this would be a great car just to salvage those parts off of it. It has a Certified Transmissions Road Ripper tranny with only 15,000 miles on it. A great transmission with solid shifts from improved parts and such. I had in the last 10,000 miles or so replaced ALL of the suspension, struts, lower front arms, all four rear lower arms, bushings, links, ball joints, engine cradle mounts etc. I just replaced the steering rack, power steering pump and lines, and it has drilled and slotted rotors front and back with Hawk HP pads. It has a set of Pirelli tires with many miles left on them, though they are starting to get a little old. The body itself is a Colorado car, hence no rust at all but it does have a number of nicks, scratches and small dents. I really don't want to end up driving this to the junkyard, so I thought I'd try to give it away first to someone "in the family" on this site, in the hopes that it will find a new life or serve a useful purpose keeping another V8 SHO alive.
