1998 died

I dont own a Gen 3 and have never posted in this section before ... so please forgive me.

Question at hand. A coworker has a 98 w/ 96K miles on it. Cams are not welded.

He was driving the car and it turned off on him. The fuel pump and filter check out good; but, his mechanic is saying that he has no fuel to motor.

What could this be?

If the cams aren't welded sounds like no fuel to the motor is a good thing!!

Try checking the fuse?

Try resetting the inertia switch, might have accidently got tripped somehow.

Or a clogged fuel filter.

Was he actually in the act of driving or did it shut off when he was stopped at a traffic light or stop sign?
