I hate to do this but I've decided to put up for sale my 1995 Ultra Red/Mocha ATX. This is my 4th Taurus SHO. (94 ATX, 97, & and 89 also) This car has been my daily driver for the last 3 years. I purchased the car from a previous owner who had not taken very good care of maintenance & repairs, so when I bought it I went through the car top to bottom fixing EVERYTHING! (See the mile long list below)

The car is an automatic with 156xxx miles. It is (Ultra) Red w/ Mocha full leather interior. Moonroof, headlights (upgraded to 7000K Full Xenon Lamps) Also has a 2-way Astrostart Remote Starter w/ Security & Keyless Entry. The car runs & drives perfect. Tires have about 6/32" of tread left so they will be fine thru Spring or so.

When I first bought the car & pulled out the engine & did a minor overhaul on it @ 127k miles. I tore it down to the cylinder heads & had a complete valve job done & replaced EVERY gasket & hose on the engine. (and I do mean EVERY ONE!)
Here is the list of parts that were replaced/added in the last 2 years I have owned it. If you want any more specifics as far as dates or mileage, let me know.
*Rebuilt (upgraded) Transmission (I have already serviced the rebuild this past summer with about 15k miles on it- fluid looked good w/ no metal shavings)
*Super Chips ECU Tuner Chip (removes rev limiter, more aggressive performance tune, much firmer shifts)
*Fuel Pump & Fuel Filter
*Timing Belt & Water Pump
*Spark Plugs & Wires
*Idler Pulleys, Belt Tensioner, & Belt
*Power Steering Pump & fluid flush
*A/C Compressor
*Camshaft Position Sensor, Crankshaft Position Sensor
*Spectre Performance CAI
*Battery & Alternator
*DPFE Sensor, Coolant Sensors, VSS
*All 4 corners have brand new brake calipers, hoses, pads, & rotors, & wheel bearings w/ brake fluid flush
*Ford Performance Specialist (Doug Lewis in Atlanta, GA) hi-flow stainless steel Y-Pipe w/ Catalytic Converter
*Flowmaster Super 40 Mufflers w/ Polished Stainless Steel Tips
*Radiator & Cooling Fan w/ coolant flush
*Monroe Quik Struts in all 4 corners (complete strut w/ new mounts & coil springs)
*EVERY suspension component has been replaced (sway bar bushings, links, strut rods, links, lateral rods, etc)
*Stereo Upgrades! Kenwood Excelon CD Deck w/ USB & Aux. Ports that is Satellite Radio ready, Kenwood Excelon component speakers in front doors, Kenwood Excelon rear deck speakers, & MTX Thunder 8" subwoofer w/ MTX amplifier

This is just a partial list highlighting the main items. I have full complete records available if anyone wants. For those who know me, the reason I did all this work is I am extremely **** retentive about my cars and I feel the need to fix ANYTHING & EVERYTHING that may be wrong with my car. I realize I won't get my money back out of the car (which totals close to $8,000 FYI) so $2500 is a very good deal.

I drove it to this fall's MN SHO Club Meeting in Minneapolis for those members that were there or can attest to its condition from what they saw.

$2500 looks to be an awesome deal for someone who wants a nice SHO.

For anyone looking at the ad - any rust that you've seen on the car? Based on far you went into it, and how well you've taken care of it, I wouldn't think it'd be an issue.

There is rust on the RR fender area (typical area). I already repaired the LR side. I had a body shop look at it and was told I would need to find a donor fender to cut out & replace that section. I purchased a good used fender from a donor car this fall but never got around to have it done, so I have the good section of fender that goes with the car.

I also have several other extra/spare/used parts that go with the car as well.
