Hi, I am in the process of looking for another engine to build as well. I am pulling engine and reinforcing the strut mounts and areas around them as we all know they are areas the rust and weeken front stucture. So If you are pulling motor I would recomend that toy you. Also you my think about cleaning up the engine area while it is out and repaint it to prevent future problems with rust. I was told by a local body shop that It would cost me for them to do it all about $1100. ( That includes blasting 3 coats primer and 3 coats paint and sealer. ) It is worth it if you plan on restoring your car. Good luck and have fun. Wes

3.2L Engine Replacement....

I'm located in West Hempstead Long Island, and yes i need to replace my 3.2L engine, i found an engine from a taurus sho 1994 with 60,000 miles with rear end damage, i was thinking of also picking up also the serpentine and timing parts, as they are hard to find in working condition(some). With labor i've been told close to $2000 along with brakes all around(front and back).

Car has 105,000 miles on it, the body is in excellent condition, only reason why i want to keep it on the road for a few more years.
