I'm helping my brother sell his car. He lives in the East Lansing area. He can't afford gas and car insurance anymore due to the fact that he's a poor college student.
It's a green 1993 ATX Ford Taurus SHO. It has just over 140,000 miles. It comes with a set of steelies he used for winters with tires that have decent tread left. Within the past 2 years or so, it has had a handful of replacements.
:woo-hoo:
Whats New:
Alternator
Battery
Steel Brake Lines
Ball Joints
Brake Pads
Idler Pulley
Starter
Rotors
Totalling at about $2600.
From what he tells me, there are a couple issues with it. I'm not sure what they are exactly though. He says after he drives it for a while, he'll stop at a light, and when he goes to drive again when it turns green, it will hesitate and then kind of launch forward. I'm thinking it might be a brake issue. Also, the last time he drove it, his gas went up and down and when he parked, he could smell gasoline. So there must be a leak somewhere. There's just a little bit of rust but nothing too life threatening.
Make me an offer!
