Sounds like a timing belt issue like it jumped timing...

You might have a bad cat.

Ok ill be sure to check the timing belt is on correctly. The previous owner cut off all the cats and resonator so can't be that. The pulley look perfect doesn't wobble at all no rust dusty marks in engine caparment but ill be sure to check and let you know thanks.

Did the previous owner replace the MAF with a stock one, or an aftermarket one ? Is it a stock air filter or an oiled one ?

Oil pressure sensor may be going bad; oil light flickered on mine at idel after warm, and went away after I replaced it; about $25 at the dealer and easy to replace; back side of engine block accessible from drivers side. Ticking noise could be belt tensioner. Did you replace the ECU yet ? I have a spare good one

sounds more like starving from lack of fuel pressure since it revs just one time after sitting but then won't after that; pressure can be checked at schrader valve.
