The time has finally come, after almost 9 years of ownership, to let my 92 SHO go. I've put a lot of blood sweat and tears into her and want to make sure she goes to a good home. Purchased December 2007 as a 1 owner car with 206,000 miles. Currently showing 302,000. Black/gray. Recent upper and front 60k maintenance and rod bearings. All vacuum lines, cooling hoses and plenum connectors were replaced. A few years ago I replaced the entire power steering system, except for the reservoir and the hose from the reservoir to the pump. Original equipment stereo system replaced with JBL subwoofer box and amps, Pyle sub, Sony rear speakers and Clarion door speakers. I haven't decided if I want to let the Sony stereo go or to keep it. H-brace in the rear and aluminum sub-frame bushings. A/C blows cold, but does have a slow freon leak. Hard button EATC. Full size spare.
I've got LOTS of spare parts. 3.0 engine, manual transmission (disassembled) , two brand new Monroe front struts (still in the boxes), injectors, valve shims, weather stripping, wire harnesses, mouldings, books, DVDs, and more. I'll be going through all my stuff and will update the list as I sort through it all.
The car will start and drive, but there is noise coming from the top end. I replaced the rod bearings and it went away for just a few minutes and then came back. I believe the low pressure is coming from the oil pump.
