I know this topic has been covered before, but I was hoping for some "to the point advice".

I've got a 91+ rear spoiler to put on my '90 model. The body guy I took it to was a little concerned of it fitting, but I assured him it would. Can anyone give some advice on how best to line it up on the trunk?

He was suggesting finding another 91+ model and measuring, but I hate to go through all that. His big concern was the bolts lining up so that they go down through the flat metal, and not where it bulges out on the inside of the trunk lid. Thanks in advance.

Umm, I dont want to sound like an a$$, but if this guy doesn't know how to install a spoiler, I dont think I'd trust him with my car. Anyway, the bolts come down through the areas where the bulges are. You just cut a hole in the bracing to be able to put the nuts on. At least on the center and outside bolts. search link #1

I did a search, and this is the only thing I came up with. Hope this helps!

I found the spoiler from the classifieds section of shoclub.com. Great place for parts.

You cant just "eyeball" a plus spoiler. If you get the holes wrong it will not fit the trunk lid properly.
