1989 JBL stereo receiver...

Ive got the JBL system in my '89 (receiver with the paddle VOLUME control)

The volume control is giving me trouble... it doesnt always like to turn DOWN

It works if I push in and down on the paddle, but I was wondering if anyone has any experience repairing the factory head unit...

Id like to retain the factory stereo... is there anyway I can repair this problem?

Check out ebay...I'm currently selling the whole JBL factory setup out of my '90 CD player, radio, and amps. I've seen many just CD players or just radios if thats all you need.
