Anyone interested in owning 17" Slicers? I bought a set of 17" 5 spoke Pony's for my Fox body 1988 Mustang GT a few years back and loved them. They looked just like the 16" Pony's but I fit larger rubber on them look and had the option to fit 13" brakes behind them. The larger wheels looked great too.

Check out the website for more info and picures: Pony R Pony R's are made by MavroMont Industries and the color match to the Ford center caps was perfect. I'm interested in owning a set of 17" Slicers and was wondering if a demand exists for such an animal. You can contact them at [email protected] and let them know you are interested. My Pony R's cost ~$748 when I bought the argent color wheels. If enough interest is generated, they may decide to produce them.

I contacted MavroMont twice through email and am waiting for a response. If I don't hear anything soon, I will call them to find out what the skinny is. I shopped 17's then 18's on the car using Microsoft Paint. I could really use version of Photoshop... I thought the 18's looked more appropriate in the large wheel well openings than the 17's and 16's did. I will keep you updated as to any progress.

Jim Merriman in CT shopped around a number of places a few months ago getting prices on 17 and 18 inch slicers, and it was cost-prohibitive.

I never heard back from Mavromont Industries. Looks like they are stalled on producing the 17" Pony wheels for the Fox Mustang right now.
