12v accessory wire

Posting so it's archived. I tracked down a good 12v wire to tap for accessory power. Under the dash at the fuse panel/all that wiring business down there. Look for the black wire with green stripe. It is thicker than most of the spaghetti under there and is hot in accessory and run positions.

I use to use the wires coming off the ignition. They are easy to get to under the steering column shroud.

Black/Light Green is hot in run and accessory. Probably the same wire you tapped into at the fuse box.

Red/Light Blue is hot in run.

Red/Light Green is hot in run.

Gray/Yellow is hot in run.

Red/Light Blue is hot in start.

Yeah. I think it's at the ignition module. I did it when the sun was going down with a flashlight but that's the one. You can't mistake the color and the mil thickness compared to most other wires under there.
