120k on the clock...

Well with 120k on the clock the transmission is finally going in for a rebuild. As far as I know it has never been worked on and it is def. the original transmission. While I have the wife talked into letting me spend some money on the SHO, I want to replace the wear items. My list of to-do's includes coolant flush, PS fluid replace, fuel filter replace, endlinks, strut mounts, subframe bushings, and swaybar bushings. Eventually some new SARC struts, but not until all the bushings are replaced. I will be adding an aux. trans. cooler as well. I had my cams welded at 80k and had the 100k maintenance done at that point. So, is there anything crucial that I should do at this point? There are other "upgrades" planned for later, but right now I want to get all the worn out stuff fixed. She rides a little rough at this point and I just want to smooth her back out...
Also where would you recommend getting the right parts?

Spark plugs are probably just about shot. I know Ford says 100K but about 50K is about as far as you can take them, realistically.

If you are going to get the strut mounts replaced, you might as well just do the SARCs now rather than paying the high labor cost twice.

The main thing is the trans rebuild... make sure you get it done by someone who works on SHOs and knows the problem areas. Doug Lewis builds a damn-near bulletproof tranny for the SHO. You may want to have him ship one to your mechanic and have them do the swap. If I had extra money to spend on the SHO, THAT is where I'd invest it, no questions asked.
