11 second quest!!!

This is one of my last time slips from the 2019 season.. It had a A.J.P. E30 tune in it full weight
4533 with me.. The car has an 11 sec pass in it for sure i guess i need to put it on a diet but its my
daily driver.. This winter i'll do a few more bolt on parts: coils, plugs, mounts, e sensor.. I should be able
to find a tenth.. Have a great holiday season and a happy new year.. We will see what 2020 brings us!! View attachment 11146

I had a similar experience. Best I could do full weight with stock turbos, IC and fuel pump, 93+ Meth was a 12.06 back in September 2018. I then gave into temptation, took just my rear seats out and snagged an 11.83 the next month in October with negative DA and the track prep was outstanding.

If I could do it all over again I would have not taken the rear seats out that day in October. I would have got that 11 full weight.

Now if I decide to take seats out, I do it while the car cools down from the 3 hour drive there. In the above instance I drove down without the rear seats so I was commited before I even got there.

Weight saver I run constantly is no trunk stuff, engine cover and always running low fuel, maybe 50 miles to empty average and that's on the street. The GH IC weighs 40 pounds, my Splitter about 8lbs, wheel spacers are probably 5lbs total.

I usually like to go to the track in the beginning of the season like I run it on the street, but about 30 miles to empty. I like to see what I can make on improvements full interior before I take seats out. I like to get faster and faster everytime I go back to the track and set my all time personal best for the year at the end.

2018 I ended with a best of 11.83. This year with an 11.36.

All I do when I get to the track is take the spare tire out.. I also usually have a half tank of fuel..

I have been running my sho since 2016.. I put a Livernois tune in it with 1500 miles on the car.. I never ran it stock
kinda wish I did.. Every year I do something to make it go faster, bolt on stuff, and try different tuners.. This winter
I'm going to purchase coils, mounts, plugs, and run with a 1/4 or less fuel in tank.. I also would like to drop a few pounds I'm 280 need to loose 80.. It really is addicting.. I'm 57 all my buddies think im nuts for using this platform
but they are surprised to see how fast im getting it to go.. So we will see if I can get that elusive 11.99 time slip.. ITS ONLY A 10TH AWAY..
