I have read all kinds of posts on putting 11.6 rear brakes on a SHO. My question is this: What caliper bracket do you use? and, what do you do with the proportioning valve?

Thanks,
Jim

You have to use 92 or older taurus rear calipers with a "custom" adapter (moves the caliper outward and centers it over the rotor). The rotors also need a spacer ring to properly center them on the smaller diameter rear hub. The porportioning valve can be left as is or bypassed with plugs.

Zy it would look excatuly like the front. Theirs no need to do the upgrade unless you have the willwood or bear brake setup. And you do auto X or tack racing.

I have to disagree.Having driven an SHO with the rear brake upgrade with stock fronts, you can most definately notice the difference.

i believe that there will be a difference, also it will look a lot better for the rear wheels, after market or not....
