Is this ok for use in the GEN III's ? the wife had the oil changed and according to the little sticker this is what in now has in it

I think 10w30 or 5w30 is the suggested oil type from the manufacturer. You should not have problems with it so long as it is a quality version that meets the manufacturers specs, which most available oil will.

Yes, you can use it... You can go even thicker if you want.... but only recommended in warmer weather.

5w40 Amsoil for me next time. :) Currently running 0w30. Probably be a year before I change it.
