does anyone one know what sort if maintenance needs to be done on an '89 V6 SHO w/100K on it. I dont want to see this engine break down on me. It seems I can hear the valves a little more now too.

Pretty much everything in the above posted link. Might be able to wait another 20k assuming the last 60k was done on time.

Drop it off at my shop, and pick it up when it's finished.

The engine won't break so no worries there; just need to do the required 60k stuff if it was not done; not an interference engine so if the timing belt goes, no damage will occur. Valves might be noisy due to just needing an oil change. Rod bearings should be OK with that little mileage as long as the owner changed the oil regularly.

that takes all the fun out of it, and I need to do it myself no offence but In the type that does everything himself. I just needed to know if there was special maintenance at 100k. I need to replace the water pump so I figured on going the timming belt and whatever else it needed. Thanks
