it's a boschNew doesn't always mean that it is good. Kind of like new members that "introduce themselves" in a Ford Taurus forum with Audi questions.
I reset ecm yesterday it ran good for an hour then a wire came a loose and it started acting up again going to tackle it again todayIt it were my car I would look at a good working oem unit or the connector is bad. Could be something else in the wiring or computer but I would not go there until I was sure about the MAF and connector. Usually if it runs better on default without the sensor, the sensor is faulty.
It's jerking n stalling lost of power especially when going up hillWhat was the symptom that made one replace the MAF and its connector in the first place? If all that work didn't change the symptom, then you might just be barking up the wrong creek without a paddle.

I was told today it could be grounding issueI have an 02 Audi A6 Quattro 4.2 my issue is have a new maf and new connector unfortunately I unplug the maf and car still runs, while driving n maf plugged it's crappy unplugged it's excellent any input on my issue with my maf
It's BoschCould be grounding issue. Also some aftermarket parts are suspect. I never trusted aftermarket MAFs and always (after I got a bad aftermarket one) got a used factory replacement. Search what Audi models use the same MAF as the one in your car and look around for a used replacement. That's my best guess without getting more information or getting my hands on it. I guess I would also look at the connector replacement and the wiring there
There are local salvage yards and also used auto part search engines on the internet that make locating what you want very easy. also ebay
