How much clearance between the intake manifold and the Front Stabilizer? Hopefully plenty of clearance for anyone still using stock motor mounts. :biggrin:- MON89SHO

SHO in the snow...
Yeah, I've got Dunlop High Performance all season (great in dry and wet, excellent feel at 100mph+) and also trailer hitch, which I think makes the back too stiff, causing it to slide around a lot. I want to get snow tires, but it's so late in the season I'm just waiting til next winter...- MON89SHO

Express down Sunroof?
With installing the express down switch on the passenger window being such a popular mod... Has anyone ever considered having the sunroof be express down...well 'express-back' in this case- MON89SHO

no more 5th and reverse.
nope, i fixed the two broken plastic cable holders (1 inside car, 1 under car by tranny) and now mine wiggles less than 1/2". Even with both those things broken it only wiggled about 1-1.5 inches. Something is very VERY wrong with your shifter, dude!- MON89SHO

Question about 3950rpm
Found nothing searching...Is all that noise/speed caused ONLY by the secondary intake runners opening up...or does the SHO also have some sort of variable valve timing? ie: VVT-i & VTEC. Sorry, questions like this just get in my head and won't let me sleep until i get an answer. Thank god for...- MON89SHO

Has anyone ever seen this before?!?!
it happened to all four springs on my winter beater escort (it turned itself into a low rider :evilgrin: seriously the front is 3" off the ground, my jack doesn't even fit under it lol) and i just noticed the the right-rear spring on my sho is broken too. Time to put those Moogs I've had sitting...- MON89SHO

2.5L rod shifter?
Another thought... has anyone out there ever tried using the universal cut-to-length shifter cables that jegs & summit carries? I'm not sure what size the sho's cables are, but if these non-friction aftermarket cables came in the right length would it work? Just curious. Thanks, mike- MON89SHO

better? how so? different design or just less worn out? thanks for the reply. Yeah, i wondered about what years the 2.5 mtx was produced but i couldn't find dates anywhere. I just fixed my cable shifter; the bushing inside of the car and also the bushing where the cable meets the tranny under...- MON89SHO

2.5L rod shifter?
Does anyone here know if any of the 2.5L SLO mtx's had a rod shifter...and if this would fit on an 89 sho? There's only one sho at my local yard and it's a badly smashed-up atx :frown: so i'm stuck trying to get as many decent interchangeable (hardly any) parts off of the SLO's and Sable's...- MON89SHO

Also, where in the lot would it be... at 5pm on a Sat. It WILL be busy there, so I think meeting in front of a certain store. The Target/Sears side (Side of mall facing Wisconsin Ave.) of the lot usually is pretty empty, as long as you don't get too close to the building.- MON89SHO
