Where to buy radiator cooling fan motor ?

Part # on my (bad) motor is F0DU-8K621-CA Yeah, I know that other than the engine a SHO is just like a regular Taurus, however, unless the SHO shares the same motor as a 3.8L the cooling fan motor IS a SHO specific part.

Where to buy radiator cooling fan motor ?

If this works it was the "RADIATOR FAN ASSEMBLY" on the bottom of the page. click AutoZone doesn't list a replacement motor for the SHO, neither does O’reily Auto Parts (only had listings for universal fans) or NAPA (only had a listing for 3.8L motor)

Where to buy radiator cooling fan motor ?

Looks like I'll be able to buy one from a parted out car. Do the MTX & ATX cars use the same fan? The fan assembly that AutoZone listed in their catalog was for a standard 3.0L Taurus, not a SHO. Is the dual fan setup an aftermarket one?

I've been trying for the last week to find a replacement motor but haven't been able to find one yet. I found out the hard way that the replacement fan assemble that AutoZone sells isn't for a SHO. Is the motor for a 3.8L Taurus the same? The reason the motor stopped working is the brushes...

    Ice in plug wells?!!

My thoughts are: I bought the car 2 weeks ago from the dealer who I'd bet they washed the engine. I live in Iowa & we haven't had a day above freezing since then. My guess is that since the plug wires were original with 135K on them they weren't sealing and were letting condensation in the...

    Ice in plug wells?!!

Earler this week my SHO started having the SHO charastic miss under 3000 RPM. So I decided to change the wires, plugs & valve cover seals. Today while I was changing the back row of plugs I couldn't figure out why I couldn't get the spark plug socket on all the way, when I looked in the wells...
