    Car cranks, but won't start

    check the wiring harness that runs behind the pulleys, its for the CPS. Mine rubbed on the pulleys and shorted itself out. the car would crank and crank and crank but nothing happend. it had fuel and it had spark.

    Thank you scott we got a loaner car out of my uncle and the dealership is taking care of it due to the foolishness of the mechanic. The loaner car is a 2002 taurus, nothing compared to my 5spd sho. ohh well, prob a week and ill have it back i really wanted to do the job too. thanks,Jake

    The wires fit like a glove, there is an awsome seal around and its actually kind of hard to get them off. As i was driving today, they worked as they should have but as you said it is a test of time.
