not sure where to post this one, but here goes. 92 mtx. a few weeks ago i had a speaker wire get caught in the window track and it fried the factory amp.. so i replaced the amp with one out of my 94 atx. i replaced the black box that says ford jbl audio system, along with the aluminum finish...- SedanHatesOwner

i used the snap on spark plug socket for the early mod motor, and a 4 inch extension and had no issue doing plugs and wires with out removing the intake, and in a timely manner. if u have access to this tool, it saves a bunch of time, and is about the same depth as the spark plug well on the...- SedanHatesOwner

no power at fuel pump....

cats coming apart, loss of power.
i really like straight pipe idea, the exhaust is in verry good shape, i had no problems welding flowmaster 40s out back, and the y is in just as good if not better shape than the back of the car. thanks for the great idea! -

while fixing my ****** on my stock y pipe, i gave the cats a wrap or two with my fist and discovered that they are starting to come apart, which leads me to believe this is what is causing my loss of power. i know the best thing to do it buy a after market set-up, but im not opposed to breaking...- SedanHatesOwner

i agree, i have been going to carlisle all ford for 15 years now, and i have never seen it this bad, it was dead this year, i had a boatload of sho parts for sale, along with a bunch of mustang parts, old and new, i brought home just about everything i brought to the show. i hope it gets better...- SedanHatesOwner

coolant leak at firewall side of engine...(92 MTX)
well. because all my parts cars are autos, the steel pipe was different so i cut the crimp off of the engine side of the rubber hose and there is a flared end on the pipe, so i used a piece of heater hose from a p71 crown vic i had and cut it to size, all fixed for now.- SedanHatesOwner

pressure tested and is the hose off the back of the block. i have 4 parts cars so no big deal on the parts end, thanks all for the input! -

i was driving to work today and noticed a bit of smoke from under my hood. so i pulled over and took a look under the hood and found there was coolant all over the firewall, possible bypass hose, or??? also noticed a fair amount of power over the last month or so, maybe a head gasket? oil is...- SedanHatesOwner

Replaced pump and strainer and cleaned tank again. All is good for now. Does anyone have a decent exhaust there looking ringer rid of?- SedanHatesOwner

Tank was dropped when I did the pump. After mAny hours of dig last night I have decided to drop the tank and try Another pump. I will let you all know how it goes and again thank you all soo much for your help.- SedanHatesOwner

No engine codes. Fuel pressure dropping off when messing up. Fuel pump is on at all times (tested with stethoscope on fuel tank) I'm thinking bad regulator at this point. No change after replacing cam and crank sensor.- SedanHatesOwner

its definitly a electrical issue. no check engine light but as i said before when it messes up i can shut the car off and start it right back up and its fine but messes up under a load like loosing voltage maybe.- SedanHatesOwner
