Bought the 92 SHO Wagon, my 1st SHO

Well, I thought I was done w/Taurii when I sold our 03 Sable in Europe but we needed a second car stateside so I picked up a clean 95 Wagon w/65K on it - I immediately started upgrading it, SHO bumper, 04 rims, keyless, stereo, leather and was going to do a drivetrain swap when westpeterson's 92 SHO wagon came up for sale. So, much to the delight of my wife, I bought it (she is not seeing the difference between a 5 spd Yamaha and an auto Vulcan, after all they're both 3.0 6's, in her opinion).

Anyway, I will be here alot more now. I don't know if you saw the add for the wagon in the SHO Trader forum but it has one **** of a stereo - frankly, I don't know what half of that **** does. I will be here alot as I get her up to the condition and performance that I want. Hope to have the SHOwagon shipped here in in a couple of weeks.

Pictured below is my SLO, which the guys over at the Taurus Club site assisted me with. I am going to keep her as my daily driver as I have put too much work into her to get rid of it. So I'll have 2 Gen II Taurus wagons and a Cadillac Wagon as well. I mean crossover (not cool for a new car to be a wagon).

No. Pete couldn't come up with the money and asked to bow out of the deal. In an ironic twist of fate, on the day he talked with me to tell me, he later totaled his other car.

I'm trying to convince strykr14 to let me "road trip" it to California for him. I've known Jay Leno since before he got his Tonight Show gig, so maybe I'd stop on the way and park it next to his ShoGun for a quick snap shot.

A picture of the car w/Jay Leno might make me change my mind about the shipping! Right now the cheapest quote I've got is in the mid $700's, Ohio to California. I put a bid out on a website and I am kind of regretting it - I am being overwhelmed with Emails and calls!

Well, I already have a wagon as our do everyhting car, and we have the SRX as the dependable traveller so my wife also didn't see the need either. But she's shellshocked now, I've always had a Toy. I sold my 5.8L 93 Mustang in Germany and the GL was just not cutting it as a replacement - My truck requires another restoration after a tree fell on it and I don't have the garage right now for that. This wagon will now be my toy. It will also be an intro for me to the world of FWD V6 performance. I have always been a WRD V8 guy. $4.50 gas this summer has cooled my V8 passion a bit!
