UPDATE!!!!!!

Toolman came down to the PA SHO Shop and tuned it for me. Everything went smoothly and the car is pulling very hard.

I just want to give a big thanks to everyone that made it out that night for their support and help, Matt (The Crew), Brian W(Area 91), Craig (Justinsane) and of course Timothy (toolman).

The car is running really good and only has a couple of kinks to work out.

And, I pulled on an EVO MR (6 speed) after about 45mph on the track..........

I was using the apexi for a/f before. We switched it totally to the Tweecr. I was running around 9-10 psi and now it is maxing out higher than that. I didn't mess with the wastegate much since Ashley and Paul tuned it, but it is alittle higher now I'm really happy with how it is running now, but I am choosing to keep my boost a secret. I have to agree with Jason on this one. I would trust Tim's tuning abilities but none of that is going to matter when the explosions in that chamber reach a certain power level. IMO it's only a matter of time before those pathetic pistons give up...

Oddly enough, my untuned turbo 3.0 lasted longer than the 3.2 ever did with a tune. But when it did give up, it took everything with it.

I'm not running that much more than I was the first time. Its not a dangerous level at all. There have been plenty of people that have pushed it farther than I am now. Trust me, its at a safe boost level, no worries.....

Yes, there have been people that push the motor harder, however, those people worked ******* learning the in's and out's of how boost/heat/timing/etc play a role and learned how to take their fate into their own hands on learning how to tune (I made sure I knew what i was doing with the TwEECer before boosting).

I'm sure Tim knows how to tune just fine, but every car reacts diffrent and will take some fine tuning. As much as the computer tried to correct for a minor variance, in many ways it'll actually make your tune worse.

Anyway, you'll somtimes fine playing it safe is much better than 50 extra horsepower...

Yah, I'm realy happy with how it is running. On an all out run in 3rd, watching the road and my wideband I'm seeing a hi of around 11.5 which I'm really happy with. I havn't got a chance to watch it in 4th yet. As far as the timing we gave it a ton of retard to the point where it is deffinatly safe.

I hope Tim chimes in with his 2 cents here as he is the one that tuned it, I was just there to watch and learn.

Your highest AFR is 11.5:1? What is low?

I shoot for 12.5:1 without the computer pulling any timing.

No highest is pretty much normal when I'm just on the highway. But when I totally floor it its in the high 10's mid 11's. Better rich than lean..

I know you said you shoot for 12.5 but I know when we were doing a 4th gear pull, Tim was unhappy with it hitting 12.5. I'm not exactly a tuning master so you would have to ask him. But I know he wants to keep it rich. This is all I will say. If you want to know more you will have to ask him.

10:1 is very rich... Too rich. As long as your intake air charge is cool, you'll be perfectly fine. Running too much fuel isn't as desired as you think. I've heard reports on someone here breaking a piston from too much fuel...

11's is OK... but I wouldn't aim for it. 12:1 is the lowest I would go. If you're breaking stuff at that point, you should have paid more attention to timing and heat.
