Driving down the interstate this morning, a debre of some sort hit under the SHO, I did find it hit the gas tank. It didn't cause a leak or anything. but now Io have no pump. I turn it on, And usually I can hear it, but now it doesn't. We checked the fuel pump safety switch, and it's not set (We tried to push the button down, no luck)

Any ideas? need help asap

you have a fp safety shut off in your trunk on the drivers side behind the carpet...reset it and away it should go!

He's probably thinking Gen II.

Look for the button on the passenger side behind the wheel well.

That's all I can think of, I checked all the fuses, and the switch cannot be pushed. I really dont want to drop the tank.

I've seen the switch not work even though it does not need reset. Try taking it off and connecting the wires directly together to see if the pump comes on. If it does then take the switch off and clean it out with some WD 40 or contact cleaner.

Turns out the pump was busted, in several places. We got the new one installed, and it works. abit louder than normal. Maybe because it's new?

If you got a cheap aftermarket then it's going to be noisy, and even more so if the insulator was not installed over the pump.....

Well, We reinstalled everything that came with the pump (that was on the old one, only with new parts) and it was from Auto-zone. Not sure of the brand

That would be a cheap aftermarket, might last a day/might last forever but it's going to be noisy as long as it's working.....;)
