I think you're going to have to trim and/or roll your rear fenders (i believe that puts you into Street Prepared?) to fit 245s. how well it does or doesn't fit also depends on how wide your wheels are, and their offset, and the brand of tires - different brands have different widths. ex. my toyo 225s vs my falken 225s, the falkens are noticebly wider.
*edit* just saw that you have subframe connectors as well... I think that alone puts you into SP or SM, doesn't it? and the aluminum sfb should put you into one of those as well.

You'll want at least an 8" wide wheel for the 245s.

more rubber, more HP.....
Yep, having either ALSFB's or SFC's puts you in Street Modified.

I run 245-40/17's on 17x8's with 35mm offset on my Gen 1. I had to cut the inner fender lip off for them to fit. You might have to do the same thing for a Gen 2.

Also, you probably shouldn't run more positive than a 38 mm offset or else the tire will rub the rear strut (assuming you're going with 17x8's and 245's).

dang, my wheel is only 7 inch. I was hoping they would squeeze on there. There is a local guy selling some tires for a good price and i wanted to jump on it.

thanks for the insight guys. I guess i will stick with 225's

I am running 235-45-17 on mine
Specs:
Tires Calculated Overall Diameter = 25.3 Inches
Tires Section Width = 9.2 Inches

So a 245-40-17 is:
Tires Calculated OD = 24.7 Inches
Tires Section Width = 9.6 Inches

A little too wide. I am running 17x8 I think you will have to stick with the 225s also

here is a pic however

Ashley20side20Medium

i figured you can see how wide they are from this pic. these are the 235-45-17s

245/45/17. I have intrax springs on tokico struts. The front springs have 1.5 coils cut out.
