Would it be ok to run tokicos on the front and monroes on the rear with eibach springs? I dont really see what the harm would be. Or would it be better just to sell the tokicos and run monroes on all 4 corners?

Why? What would be the negative effects? People run Eibachs with monroes with no ill effects. Whats the problem with adding a variable rate up front, while standard in rear?

the springs aren't the problem.

I ran moog/tokico on the front and OEM/GR2s on the rear for a couple months, and the pogo from the back was crazy. In high-speed evasive maneuvers, the back end was really really unsettle.

The car was really really unbalanced...front was tight, back was loose....

Why not just get a set of monroes for the front? Last time I bought a set, they were $65 shipped to my door for the fronts.

i don't think it will make that much of a difference, IF both front and rear struts are brand new

however to be safe, you could sell the tokico's, pick up cheap struts.. and pocket some cash

I guess variable wasnt a good word choice. I was refering to the different damping that the tokico does.

FWIW: I have Koni inserts on the front and Moog struts on the rear of my daily driver. Rides great but it does have stock springs.

That's interesting. I thought only Monroe, and Gabriel made a quickstrut for the Taurus?

Realistically, if your just going to drive your car on the street. Theres probably nothing wrong with running two different sets of struts. The monroe's might wear out rather quick because of the increased spring rate on the springs, however.
