Hey guys. Quick question about altering a wastegate setting. First off, here's what I'm working with -Garrett/International C91 series used on the early Ford IDI 6.9/7.3 Turbo diesel engines. It has an internal wastegate with an unknown boost setting and I can only assume that it is higher than the ~5 psi I'm looking for. So here's my question, can I simply purchase a wastegate with a lower psi set spring and adapt it? I want to keep the internal wastegate on it for packaging and cost. Any ideas? Thanks.
