And some tunning help this year would be great!!! lol the poor 3.3L needs tuned bad lolPlease don't forget alot of the SHO owners now are kids 16-25 who don't have nor make much money. I just started a new job at a car dealership a few months back and can't go to the convention, and have some bills to pay off from being out of work for a while i am also paying off.
I love my SHO, **** i won't let it go for anything and i wish i could go I really do. Me and Corey both wanted to go with Eric, even for only a few days but he's moving by august and just bought and SRT8 charger and has a large payment to swing.
I am just now getting back on my feet from stupid cell phone bills, credit card bills, "etc." (you would be surprised how quickly those stack up) from when i quit my last job because of missing money out of my check. I'm also only 20 so a trip like that is extensive for me to consider and I know the condition my SHO is in that it wouldn't make it to MI. and I don't have the know how to fix it on the fly if say the timing belt snaps or something.
I'm just saying you can only play the cards your dealt and the way gas prices are putting the economy in this slump it just really makes things difficult.
I'm a girl, can I get a ride in the '08?![]()
Sure ya can
And no Tim, this isn't directed at you, or Mandy, or Joe or anybody in particular. This is a general bitch to the whole Great Lakes SHO community.

I am not trying to make excuses or anything, but the simple fact of nick joined a race team....Brian Stewart Racing ("Indy Pro Series") so now that he has finally got the good job... there is no time! to fix the broken sho's! lol (Just my F*&^ing luck!!) I have to shot don an email but I dont know if anyone else can answer it for me.... Can I just regestuer and pay at the convention? Because I am trying to get the secret project still finished...put the motor in and then the only thing that wasnt replaced... the piston rings... died!!! so differnt motor is going in and maybe by a merical, It might get finished before the convention is done lol other wise ****, I will just tow it over there so everyone can at least see what it is! (and alex can finally see what it really is, we kept telling him all sorts of things!!) Also If anyone is flying in I am going to detriot to get nick from the airport on sunday so I can grab ya too! **** I will drive the only sho I have left...... my moms lmao!
I for one love my sho to death but im not going to go homeless to show it.

Brian, you are NOT a true enthusiast anyway, or you would have spelled 'show' as 'SHO'![]()

I understand that the SHO's cheap power has gotten itself into younger and younger hands. I can understand the teenager states away not able to make it. But when it's in your hometown? That's kinda different and that's what Chris is saying. In fact I remember when I was only 20 and making $8/hr working part time at McDonald's and making my way through college when I attended a big event in West Michigan, Spring Zing. I didn't go to all events but I made it to a car show, dyno and general eating, drinking and bsing around, including parking lot repairs.
As for gas prices affecting the economy, I think it's more than just gas... Although it's pretty ironic that the Consumer Price Index used by the Feds EXcludes energy and food from its inflation measures. Hmmm, I think those are two pretty important factors to ones quality of life and whether or not they're making it just fine or treading water.
Also mandy, if your staying at your house, when do you plan to meet at the hotel and at the events? I unfortunatly dont have enough money to get a hotel so ill be drivin it.
Sure ya can
My wife Michelle may have something to say about it, but we'll just lock her in the trunk.
you said you guys dont do anything *****..you said you guys dont do anything *****..
