I was leaving great clips today during lunch at Chandler blvd and Dobson when I saw a white gen 3 sho. At first I thought it was Rav but then I saw the stock SHO wheels and realized that it wasn't. The guy driving parked near me so I decided to ask him what year the car was and he told me it was 99. I then asked him the mileage and he responded that it only had 50,000 on it. I became interested and asked if he ever thought of selling it and he said no because it was practically new. I also wondered if he had his cams welded.

Now I don't know if he thought I was just some dumb kid but I'm wondering if he is a member of the forum or if anyone else knows of a 99 SHO with 50k on the clock. I am slowly realizing what a sickness the taurus SHO has become for me. I'm just waiting for the "Cashtration" to set in once I get it on the road.

Hey Enos,

No idea who that would be. There's a nice black gen3 that I see going down Chandler Blvd sometimes. Completely blacked out so I've never seen who has it. Drives slow though.

If you ever get the need for a gen3 bad, let me know and we'll see what we can do. I think I might turn 75k this year sometime.

Rav,

I don't know how badly I want a gen3 but I do love that V8 sound. So the engine might be in my mind for a while if you decide to put it up for adoption.

Anytime you want to refresh your memory on the Gen3 sound, give me a shout and we'll rev her up at work.

That's funny since Nick and I get to rev up cars at work too. Then again we rev up all kinds of cars at all kinds of hours haha.

Oh, and I get enough V8 sound at work every day. They may be close to stock, but meh. Still a good time seeing how quickly you can put the truck in the wash line.

 Hmm, remind me to think twice about bringing a car in for service at your dealership. Just kidding I know you guys do good work. I remember the meet in october when Nik was changing his clutch, he was so experienced it seemed like he did it on the weekly basis.

On his car? No, more like monthly basis. :laugh_ti:

Sometimes you need to rev up the engine to determine a problem though, in all seriousness lol.

Nik breaks them on a weekly basis but repairs them monthly.
