2014 Ford Taurus sho PP PTU Fluid change

I have a 2014 Ford Taurus sho PP, tried last night to do it for the first time and failed horribly due to wrong hose size, filled some in to take it home(was at a buddy’s house) made it home okay.

The next day i get a jack and some ramps and get to work. When I took the drain plug off it squirted out then flowed out normally(google says could be a serious problem, (FIWB), got it all filled up, used about 16-20oz to acct for spillage. This is the aftermath (viewer discretion is advised)

definitely should’ve waited, it seems like a sketched job. But feels a bit better

If you don't know the maint history, you have get at those drivetrain fluids for best outcomes going forward. Learning curve and no fear.

Some glitter on the plug is normal, especially if it's never been serviced. It may not be a bad idea to do the fluid a second time in 10-20k miles depending on how many miles you've got on her.
