does anyone here have these hood decals? I'm wanting some for mine but would prefer to make them myself rather than spend 20 bucks, if so what are the dimensions? I already have the vinyl just need to know the height and length

1 1/4" in height at the back of the hood. Sized down to a mere 1/16"th at the tip.

36" in total length. Which allows you to wrap, or fold under an approx 1/4" or so at the back of the hood.

I bought mine from Ken as well, Ken was excellent to deal with and I had them in less than a week.

Anyone know if Ken is still around? I looked on Ebay and couldn't find these. Of if anyone else on here has been making them?

I would use the direct email posted above if you are really intent on tracking this down or message his ebay seller account on ebay.

I couldn't find the seller account. Now I'm really just contemplating buying a cricut and making my own. I have lots of stuff I've had other people do for me for various projects and I could have paid for a decent one by now lol

When shopping around for a vinyl cutter do yourself a favor and also consider the Silhouette Cameo. I went that route a couple of year ago for a variety of reasons. At least at the time the Cameo was a lot more "open" and Cricut was a bit locked down. Although recently it seems they may be both learning from one another for both good and no so good for the consumer. There may be other competitors now too, but it seemed these were the two mainstream versions a couple of years ago.

I could be wrong but arent the hood decals only for the 10-12 cars? their hoods have a more defined line and 13+ is more rounded. still would be a market for them but its good to note the hoods are different between the 2

I guess I didn't realize there was that much of a difference? Now that im looking closer you're right. The earlier ones have more of a inverted scoop vs the 13 and on that is illustrated raised in the middle. :(

Still options for vinyl on 13+ the hood is too curvy and racing stripes down the side rockers or up over the roof just dont work on this car IMO. but, the back of these cars are absolute slabs, with a little help from ChatGPT and some finesse with Paint, I spent way too much time playing with the idea of a rear quarter stripe, of course the picture car is Gem Green because Gem Green is awesome. Although its a bit of a Mopar thing, its an idea:
