So after a junkyard run to get me a good set of hood support struts and a set of horns, I'm now finished up with the car. After about two hrs I finally got the darn things mounted in with the help of my dad. Hood struts were nothing compared to mounting the horn. My god what a pita!
After all was said and done and some choice words it's washed, detailed and I even went for a little photoshoot at the nearby highschool in one of their parking lots.

Photos of the progress + parking lot shots. 1st photo was my discovery of the old horns NOT even bolted down, they were hanging by the harness. What a s**t job the bodyshop did for mounting them back up or not at all, who knows! Wow! Also found out from the previous accident that the horns were damaged, hence why only one would work. The new ones work and they're loud and mounted up tight. The rest? Enjoy!

Also to add, last photo(not the best) my driver side headlamp HID wasn't seated correctly and found out that the black plastic "ring" retainer was broke. Had to Jerry rig a piece of foam wrapped in aluminum foil tape to prevent it from moving & heating up (safety first right?) But *facepalm* again at whoever did the work on this car! Again sorry for the ranting I'm just excited I have these things fixed and the car looking like new again!!

Great job. Can't beat a Ruby Red, love mine.
Thank you! It was a new learning experience for me and I agree, it's a sharp color next to performance blue! I absolutely adore this car. Was so skeptical about getting one and i have no regrets!

Nice work! Don't forget about the rare gem green. The rubies are beautiful tho.

Did you paint the black around the grille or did you wrap it? I hate my chrome and am looking to delete it and around the windows. Been reading up on here and still decide on the best (and cheapest) way to do it.

Either way is a pita, the painting is good if you are patient. The wrap is the same. Whats cheap?
