Any Green Gem Metallic SHO owners?

I had to take a run to the auction today to take care of a few Mitsubishi recalls that slipped through the cracks, and as we were driving down the isles of cars I spotted a Gen 6 SHO sporting Green Gem Metallic, black rims, and tinted windows...holy crap was it gorgeous! I almost want to go back and see when it's running, I'm not sure if I've ever seen another Taurus in that color.

I've owned this since 2013. Only about 75k on the odo. Loved it ever since, especially the color...

That is the color I wish I had, if only it wasn't so rare there would have been a chance. Same year adn mileage as my car but yours looks way cleaner.

Yeah I was really lucky to snatch this one up. Also lucky it was one that had the performance package, because compared to driving other non-PP SHO's it makes quite the difference when driving as far as I can tell.

That's the best part, its almost a color shifting paint. Looks black in certain lights. Even in full sun only the highlights show green.

(Mine was dirty from a long road trip)

I have to see one of those with my own eyes, sounds like a mystichrome but with black base. Pictures don't do it justice

I have a pic, of mine with green highlights. My car actually represents more green than blue, however in photos it almost always looks black.

it's a cool color for sure. Looks black until you right up on it.
