Red Mustang Push to Start button

kinda a fun one but has anyone wanted to switch the stock SHO push to start button to one from like a S550 mustand, the bright red ones?

anyone ever do it or know if it can be done ?

You can buy stickers that will go over the Taurus to make it Red. The S550 is very different. It is a domed "cap" that is part of the switch panel while the actual mechanism/electronics are separate.

okay sweet, it was worth the digging to find out ! seems ill find a sticker or cap for it.

I bought a red carbon fiber button for my car. I thought it was nice but I took it off because it didn't go well with all my blue in my interior. Also you lose the illumination from the ignition button because you are putting something over it.
