Ok so i have a 93 octane tune by unleashed tuning but lately i have been hearing about gearhead tuning i was wondering whats a strong tune?

You can get AO tune which can handle 87- E29, a custom 93 tune, E30-E40 tune etc.

The AO tune is considered a “canned tune” but it’s on it’s 1000th revision since the first offering. The AO tune is intended to be a great daily driver tune without comprising the reliability of the drivetrain. I think I ran a 11.8 on the AO tune for reference (FBO). A custom tune is just that, we’ll data log with you remotely to get the perfect tune for your car.

Mods: 2.5 bar map sensor, afe stage 2 cai, 170 thermostat, mrt axleback exhaust,j&l oil catch can. And i plan on making anywhere between 450-500hp range

Have you seen my dyno video? Adding methanol is a great power adder if your on 93 only. You can get it in bike shops and places that sell ATV’s etc.

If you have the mods I list in the video and in the description of the video we can have you in that range with a tune your trans will love.

We could start with a tune. Then an intercooler when available. Fuel pumps are drop shipped and are 6-8 weeks out. They can be found used pretty cheap on the FB pages but you never know if it’s been abused. Downpipes are becoming increasingly scarce and more expensive. PPE are hands down the best and I believe they are the only new option for our platform currently but they are $$$$. I would try and find a used set. We cannot turn off any codes and must comply with all emissions standards. The PPE downpipes won’t pop any codes, others probably will. Another option is to find a local performance shop with a fabricator that you trust. Many of them can fab a set of catted DP’s for less than $1500.
